Roots and Gifts of Integrative Psychotherapy

Hommage to Ken EVANS († 2015), past president of EAIP.

Honoured colleagues, Welcome to Prague!

The local organizing committee is delighted to host you next year in Prague, the Heart of Europe.
With pleasure we invite you to the "Roots and Gifts of Integrative Psychotherapy" - The 9th Conference of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy.
The topic of conference is inspired by the saying which calls Prague the Heart of Europe. We are curious what is in the “heart” - in the centre of integrative psychotherapy. We believe that roots from which integrative psychotherapy rises on one side and the gifts which can offer on the others side are the genuine heart of integrative psychotherapy. That’s why we want to look closer to the “Roots and Gifts of Integrative Psychotherapy” on our conference.
What are the bases of integrative psychotherapy? We believe that focus on psychotherapy competencies can answer this question.
What are the gifts of integrative psychotherapy? We are curious what leading psychotherapists and practitioners can see as the gain of psychotherapy integration in current psychotherapy practice, research and training.

After many years of collaboration with the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy we have the honour of personally partaking in the organization. We are looking forward to your presentations and also the collective informal discussion that will follow.
The conference will take place in the historic spaces of Charles University, only a few tens of metres from the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The location of the conference is an opportunity for a rich social programme.
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of the most impressive historical cities in the world. Its well-preserved monuments represent more than 1000 years of cultural development in Central Europe. Prague is known for its historical venues and offers not only historical and architectural jewels but also an extensive range of theatres, museums and many concert halls. There are also wonderful restaurants to enjoy typical Czech meals and especially traditional Czech beer.

We cordially invite you and hope to see you at the Conference in the beautiful and historic city of Prague.
