Roots and Gifts of Integrative Psychotherapy

On behalf of the Conference Program Planning Committee we would like to encourage you to submit your proposals that reflect topics connected to psychotherapy integration. Main focus of the conference is brought to competencies and research in psychotherapy integration. But we welcome the full range of contributions to the field of psychotherapy integration. So in addition to submissions relating to the specific conference themes, the program committee invites submissions in other areas of theory, practice and training in psychotherapy integration. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by Scientific Committee.

There are four types of presentation for the 9th EAIP Conference: Workshops (two different types of duration), Papers and Brief Papers. Submission types:

Workshop (90 minutes):

  • Mainly practical and interactive format, emphasizes exchange of ideas and the demonstration and application of techniques, skills, etc.

Workshop (3 hours):

  • Mainly practical and interactive format, emphasizes exchange of ideas and the demonstration and application of techniques, skills, etc.

Paper (90 minutes):

  • Theoretical paper or research report about ongoing or completed studies in psychotherapy integration. A minimum of 15 minutes should be reserved for an open discussion with members of the audience.

Brief paper (20 minutes):

  • Theoretical paper or research report about ongoing or completed studies in psychotherapy integration.
  • There are 4 brief papers in one Brief papers session, with 5 minutes for discussion allotted to each. The program committee will organize brief papers into groups by topic.

Please read these instructions carefully before submitting your work!

  • The official conference language will be English; all submissions should be made in English.
  • All abstracts are limited to 200 words.
  • Abstracts should be structured using the following headings: Aim (of your workshop/paper/brief paper), Methods (how you accomplish the aim), Results (what is the contribution of your workshop/paper/brief paper), Discussion

Dates to Remember

  • Online submissions will be open from October 1st, 2017 to March 31st, 2018
  • Notifications of acceptance will be emailed by May 2018
